Digital Eye Strain

Complaint


Most times, patients complains about eye strain which can be cause by over fatigue of the eye due to much reading, computer use, watching television just to name a few.

Ways in which to reduce eye strain:


1. Rest eyes every 20 minutes for 2-3 minutes by closing eyes or looking at far to relax the eyes
2. Practice blinking eyes constantly especially when working with computers to moisturize the eyes
3. Whilst watching Television ensure that lights are on to reduce constant adjustment to different levels of brightness.
4. Practicing good posture whilst watching TV, on computer, Reading etc..
5.  Use computers with anti-glare screens and ensure television set is not directly opposite windows or doors where light can reflect off the TV screen.
